Best authentic sushi in DesMoines! They put their money into quality ingredients. Always consistent and never disappoints. Definitely try their baked muscles and spicy tuna roll! Surf clam is spot on too. Favorite is unagi spider roll. My wife and I's go-to weekend spot

Volcano Roll and Captain Crunch Roll came out quickly at lunch rush and was very delicious. 10/10 recommend ordering these two rolls. Environment and atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming. 10/10 would definitely come back!

I love this restaurant!! I stopped by last week and the food was great. The fish is of great quality and fresh and the rolls have super unique combinations. The menu has great pricing. You must try the Volcano roll or the Captain Crunch roll both are delicious...

This is by far the best place to get sushi in Des Moines. I used to go in and sit at the sushi bar and the staff was always very attentive and my experience was always great. The sushi is amazing. I have ordered carry out a couple times because of COVID and that hasn't disappointed me either. Will go back again and again!

This is easily the best real sushi restaurant in Iowa. If you are just after deep fried rolls with lots of sauces, then there are other party restaurants like Akebono or Sakari that will be a better option. However if you want traditional, perfectly prepared sushi and sashimi, Miyabi 9 is the clear choice.
